Welcome to Worship & Arts

At First Baptist Church Denbigh, the Worship & Arts Ministry exists to glorify God through creative expression and heartfelt praise. This ministry unites music, movement, and artistry to help the congregation experience God’s presence in powerful, meaningful ways. Every voice, instrument, and motion is a testimony of faith, gratitude, and devotion.

We believe worship is not limited to a song, it’s a lifestyle. Through music and the arts, we draw closer to God, share His message with others, and create moments that touch the heart and renew the spirit.

We worship God with creativity, excellence, and unity.

The Worship & Arts Ministry is made up of gifted individuals who serve through diverse expressions of praise:

  • Choir Leaders – guiding worship teams and vocal groups with excellence, preparation, and spiritual leadership.
  • Choirs – lifting voices in harmony to lead the congregation in worship that celebrates God’s goodness.
  • Praise-In-Motion (PIM) – expressing worship through dance and movement as a visual reflection of faith and joy.
  • Band Ministry – enhancing worship through music that supports and inspires the congregation’s praise.

Together, these teams create an atmosphere where every service becomes an encounter with God, where music, art, and faith blend to stir the soul and strengthen the believer. Through rehearsals, performances, and ministry events, members not only use their gifts but also grow spiritually and build lasting community.

The Worship & Arts Ministry invites singers, musicians, dancers, and creatives of all ages to join in this mission, using their talents to lead others into worship and make every moment in God’s presence an offering of praise.

Friendly hosts will assist you in finding parking, answer any questions you may have, and direct you to your seating area. Families can check their children into age-appropriate ministries. A Welcome Desk provides info about groups, serving, and upcoming events.

Just yourself. If you own a Bible, bring it; if not, we provide Scripture on screens and in print. Parents might bring any essentials their children need during childcare or kids’ classes.

Wear what’s comfortable. You’ll see everything from jeans to business attire. Our focus is on worshiping Jesus together, not matching a style. Come as you are; we’re glad you’re here.

Yes. We offer accessible entrances and seating, assistance as needed, and a secure kids check-in process. Trained volunteers and clear policies help create a safe, welcoming environment for all ages.
