Welcome to Youth & Young Adults

At First Baptist Church Denbigh, the Youth & Young Adults Ministry is where faith takes root and grows strong. This ministry exists to help the next generation know Christ personally, live out their faith confidently, and find their purpose in a community that believes in them.

We believe every young person and young adult has a unique place in God’s plan. Through teaching, mentorship, service, and fellowship, this ministry creates safe and engaging spaces where children, teens, and young adults can discover who they are in Christ and how to use their gifts to make an impact in the world.

We are raising disciples who lead with faith and purpose.

The Youth & Young Adults Ministry includes several sub-ministries that serve each stage of growth and faith development:

  • Nursery Ministry – providing a nurturing, loving environment for infants and toddlers during worship and church events.
  • Children’s Church (PK–5/6–12) – teaching biblical truths in creative and age-appropriate ways that help children build a foundation of faith.
  • Girl Scouts & Brownies – empowering girls through service, leadership, and character-building rooted in Christian values.
  • Youth Ministry (13–18) – equipping teens to live boldly for Christ through worship, study, and real-world application.
  • Young Adults Ministry (18–35) – guiding young adults through life transitions with mentorship, discipleship, and authentic community.

Together, these ministries form a bridge between generations, uniting children, youth, and young adults in faith, service, and fellowship. Through worship, community outreach, and spiritual growth opportunities, we equip young people to be leaders in the church and ambassadors for Christ in their schools, workplaces, and communities.

The Youth & Young Adults Ministry invites you to be part of a growing community where every young heart is seen, supported, and strengthened to live out God’s purpose with joy and confidence.

A Christ-centered, multi-generational service with congregational singing, Scripture reading, practical Bible teaching, and prayer. You’ll find a welcoming atmosphere, simple ways to connect, and time to meet others before and after the service.

Friendly hosts will assist you in finding parking, answer any questions you may have, and direct you to your seating area. Families can check their children into age-appropriate ministries. A Welcome Desk provides info about groups, serving, and upcoming events.

Just yourself. If you own a Bible, bring it; if not, we provide Scripture on screens and in print. Parents might bring any essentials their children need during childcare or kids’ classes.

Wear what’s comfortable. You’ll see everything from jeans to business attire. Our focus is on worshiping Jesus together, not matching a style. Come as you are; we’re glad you’re here.

Yes. We offer accessible entrances and seating, assistance as needed, and a secure kids check-in process. Trained volunteers and clear policies help create a safe, welcoming environment for all ages.
