Welcome to Community Outreach
The Children’s Ministry helps children grow and develop into spiritual teens, young adults, and ultimately spiritual men/women of God, who will make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of Christ. Through the various children’s ministries here at Shiloh, we believe that a firm spiritual foundation can be made that will anchor our children forever. Children’s Church meets 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Sunday. Nursery meets every Sunday.
We have a vibrant curriculum that children love and learn from, as well as family resources designed to meet the needs of today’s families. Children are encouraged to open their hearts to God through worship and study in a safe and loving environment.
Our Nursery- Kinder Director, Monique Rios, and our Children’s Director, Juli Godsil, are both available to help you in the most important task any parent can have – helping your child develop a relationship with God!
Heaven makes space for every child and so do we.
The Community Engagement & Outreach Ministry includes several active sub-ministries working to make a local and global impact:
- Homeless Ministry – preparing and serving meals while building relationships with those experiencing homelessness.
- Love-In-Action Ministry – coordinating outreach projects that meet immediate community needs.
- Culinary Ministry – providing meals and refreshments for church and outreach events that foster fellowship.
- Prison Ministry – offering encouragement, Bible study, and support to those who are incarcerated.
- Healthcare Ministry – promoting wellness and providing health education, screenings, and support.
- Kissiah Reed Missionary Ministry – leading mission efforts that extend FBCD’s reach into the broader community and beyond.
- Person-to-Person (P2P) Ministry – connecting directly with individuals and families in need of encouragement, prayer, and resources.
Each of these ministries works together to embody Christ’s compassion and create tangible change in people’s lives. Through partnership, generosity, and consistent service, we make a lasting impact on both hearts and homes.
