Welcome to Support Ministry!

At First Baptist Church Denbigh, the Support Ministry embodies the heart of service and compassion within the church family. This ministry ensures that every worship experience and community gathering reflects God’s love, care, and order, from the first greeting at the door to the quiet moments of comfort shared in times of need.

Support is more than logistics, it’s ministry in motion. These teams create an atmosphere of warmth, dignity, and belonging, helping members and guests feel at home while ensuring the church operates smoothly and graciously.

We serve with a smile and a heart of care.

The Support Ministry is composed of four dedicated sub-ministries that work together to enhance the worship experience and meet the emotional and spiritual needs of the congregation:

  • Greeters Ministry – extending genuine hospitality and making every visitor and member feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
  • Ushers Ministry – guiding guests with kindness, maintaining order during services, and ensuring a peaceful worship environment.
  • FBCD C.A.R.E.S. Ministry – offering practical support, encouragement, and care to members and families during life’s challenges.
  • GriefShare Ministry – providing a safe, faith-based space for healing and comfort to those experiencing loss.

Each of these teams plays a vital role in creating a church environment where compassion meets excellence. Through their commitment, worshippers can focus on connecting with God, knowing they are supported with love and intentional care.

The Support Ministry welcomes anyone with a heart for service, empathy, and encouragement to join in this work, helping others experience the warmth, strength, and unity of a church that truly cares.

A Christ-centered, multi-generational service with congregational singing, Scripture reading, practical Bible teaching, and prayer. You’ll find a welcoming atmosphere, simple ways to connect, and time to meet others before and after the service.

Friendly hosts will assist you in finding parking, answer any questions you may have, and direct you to your seating area. Families can check their children into age-appropriate ministries. A Welcome Desk provides info about groups, serving, and upcoming events.

Just yourself. If you own a Bible, bring it; if not, we provide Scripture on screens and in print. Parents might bring any essentials their children need during childcare or kids’ classes.

Wear what’s comfortable. You’ll see everything from jeans to business attire. Our focus is on worshiping Jesus together, not matching a style. Come as you are; we’re glad you’re here.

Yes. We offer accessible entrances and seating, assistance as needed, and a secure kids check-in process. Trained volunteers and clear policies help create a safe, welcoming environment for all ages.
